I've only started drawing my self insert and sonic together again within the last year or two but she started out as an Amy recolour back when I was a kid and would put screenshots from sonic X into MS Paint lol

Technically speaking, I've been Yume-shipping with Sonic for at least 13 years now - starting long before I even knew what that was or meant.
